Discouragement

is like walking around blind. We lose perspective. We touch things but don't recognize them. We look intently for some reassurance, but sense only darkness.

When a friend is blinded by discouragement, trying to be jovial and positive feels like you are denying their blindness.

Hello Friends,

Why is your car windshield larger than the rear view window? "Silly Question," you think.

Everyone know you have lots of things to navigate while driving 75 mph. "The windshield keeps us safely moving forward."

Then I ask, "What is your "Windshield?" What helps you navigate your future?

For me, setting goals motivates me to keep looking out the windshield and not the mirror.
